Have a Real Estate License, But Don't Want to Sell?
Colony Referral Associates, LLC is your opportunity to be apart of one of the best known real estate companies, Prudential Colony Realty, without having to commit to a full time real estate career. As a member of Colony Referral Associates, LLC network, you don't have to pay MLS fees, Board dues or error and omissions insurance. You only pay a small annual maintenance fee of $96.00. You earn referral commissions by simply phoning or e-mailing in referrals for anyone interested in buying or selling property anywhere in the country.
How it works:
If you have a valid Georgia Real Estate License or if you are obtaining a license it will be transfered to Colony Referral Associates, LLC. Before the transfer is completed you will have to pay a pro-rata share of the annual maientance fee, complete an office information form, complete Independent Contractors Agreement and an orientation with Wanda Bailey about the procedures. With this completed, you are on your way.
Now lets make sure you understand how you get paid.
Example:
You have a buyer referral that we send to a company in Rome, Ga The buyer purchases a home for $175,000. At closing the selling firm receives a commission as a buyer's agent. This usually 50% of the gross commission. The company in Rome then sends a referral check, 5 to 7 days after closing, amounting to 30% of the commission they received on the selling side. When we receive the check, we then pay you 50% within 5 to 7 business days. The same applies on a listing that is referred.
$175,000 X 6% = $ 10,500.00
50% of selling side = $ 5,250.00
30% of selling fee = $ 1,575.00
50% to you = $ 715.91 for referral
